5. Abuse - Whether it's verbal, emotional, or physical abuse, it can destroy a marriage and is one the main reasons marriages end with divorce. Physical abuse can be a reason itself. A spouse that is getting verbally or emotionally abused to the point that they can't take it anymore will often get a divorce.

6. Fights/Arguments - When a married couple finds themselves always in an argument this causes problems. In some cases it causes the marriage to end.

7. Feelings Change - After a while of being married, sometimes one of the spouses feelings may change towards their spouse. Have you ever heard of someone falling out of love? Well this can be the case and can cause a marriage to end. Sometimes feelings change and they loose interest in their spouse or don't feel the same way about them. In other words, the love and chemistry dies.

8. Marry For The Wrong Reasons - Lots of marriages end because they marry for the wrong reasons and later in the marriage discover that it isn't going to work. Some people may marry because of pregnancy or money for example. They may marry because that is the right thing to do or it's just something that can benefit them. For example, a couple starts dating and then the woman ends up getting pregnant. Because of religious beliefs or for the unborn baby, they decide to wed. This is the base of the marriage instead of true love. But they only married because of this reason and during the marriage they find out that it takes a lot more for a marriage to work, for example, true love as the main reason to make the marriage work.

9. Religious Beliefs - Sometimes a persons religious beliefs can cause conflict in a marriage. There are several married couples that go through problems just because of their religious backgrounds which sometimes lead to divorce.

10. Don't Want to Make the Marriage Work - All marriages face some problems. These problems can cause a marriage to end but the fact that one or both spouses don't want to make the marriage work by finding a solution to those problems is a reason itself that marriages end with divorce.
